I don’t know, prior to the 2010 release the Black/Reds were THE XI, from what I remember. I can definitely understand anyone saying DMPs are better than Concords.
Though dope, Concords were always my least favorite of the OG colors.

It’s all opinion friend. The only thing Concords have over DMPs is they are OG. Some may favor gold over concord/purple

Not just that they’re OG. But no lettering looks better, and the concord with that icy bluish tinted sole is legendary. I’m hoping these don’t have the lettering and the sole is tinted instead of just plain clear ((like on Jubilee’s).It’s all opinion friend. The only thing Concords have over DMPs is they are OG.
