Liking the looks of the 38s so far. Looking forward to getting the tech specs. Some interesting stuff appears to be going on with the shoe.

Same here. I put on some mids today and realized I'm getting the launch colorway 38s regardless but I probably won't hoop in em.

I like how they took the design language w the straps on the 8s and did it w the midsole and outsole of the 38s. I couldnt find the similarities at first they arent as obvious like the 7s and 37s.

Looking less likely that support frame is Zoom, too many bends…Zoom can’t mend like that. But could Zoom even work in a ‘transfer’ role? Maybe as a segmented unit, but not in a DMX function.

But the zoom isn't in the flex zone. Notice that where your forefoot flexes you have foam. I still think it's zoom.

They got 8s all over this muthaf#cka! Anybody understand what the scribble scratch is in the button on the outsole? Says that saying they've used before designed....for the Greatest of all time.

There are quite a few details that most will over look on the 38, for instance there are 23 golfball divits on the silver midsole plate, there is a 8 making up the 3x logo on the tongue( which someone else did spot and the sole actually has 2 Jumpman logos face away from the porthole in the sole

It definitely would think so, since the colorways all have something special linked to them that have to do with the Air Jordan 8
