I get the hate over these not being the og but it’s a solid cw at least. The denim ep looks better than any ep on a fire red retro to date. Clean colorblocking. I love the black liner. The clear is a bummer since it’ll yellow.
Hope we get the og pair but I’ll happily pick these up too.

No. I think this is the biggest troll job I’ve seen them do. For whatever reason, they won’t give us a great version of the Fire Red 3.

Yeah, they’ve been playing games with the White Cement 3 too. It’s so ridiculous that they won’t retro the White Cement in nice true form. Like seriously, people just want to wear and enjoy a retro of the shoe again. The OG’s are old and only good to look at in a case. People want this classic shoe again. It boggles my mind that they just play games with their consumers. Releasing a retro doesn’t take away from the true original.

The 3s, they've done true blues, black/cements, almost done the white/cements (like those JTs and the free-throw lines, which both annoy me but I figured sooner than later the real white/cements will return), and several actually halfway-decent retro+ colorways. AND they've just recently improved the shape etc. So, recent history really suggested that a fire red 3 retro with Nike Air branding was certainly imminent, given the timelines JB has sort of been sticking to between re-retros. So to concoct this wackball version of them has me completely bemused and confused. Denim? What? It really does bother me when they play around with these og cws that haven’t been properly released in forever. Most recently we got it with the grape 5s and the ftl 3s.
