It was mentioned in this thread, and has obviously been discussed before, but?
If logic prevailed, rather than greed, an official ID program would be implemented. Done right, it would be an end to the circus.
You can charge whatever, basically, since you would have quality and accurate recreation of the original as your bridge to the higher price point. Limit the CW's to already existing ones to avoid total anarchy. Implement some form of certificate of authenticity or number system, force the GM to adapt to a different form of forgery.
And, obviously we all win. Because not only do lines, raffles, and back office deals straight vanish, but we also get the model & CW we want as well. No mad Saturday mornings, and less salt in the air.

^ As much as we all would like that, it would just cause too much unpredictability in their future cash flow and earnings. Eventually we will all get what we want and call it a day. JB would be lost after that.

Obviously we know it won't happen, other than deading new CW's, they could just adhere to a 'year of the' release pattern. That'd keep'em large for another 20 years. Blah.

I hope they retro them right, with nike on the sole, insole, and backtab. Also, they need to get rid of the new netting and use the 89 and 99 netting. To me, its pointless to have a shoe Like the 88 wc3s with a jumpman on the sole but nike on the back. It defeats the purpose. Its not just about looking cool with NA on the back. The jump man on the sole makes them feel fake.

Ok, it's been a while since my last post, but I'm really excited because it seems like my prayers have been finally answered... The only thing I'm really anxious about is the quality issues... To be honest, I'm not that optimistic regarding their quality. Now, I'm already aware of the Atienza and Schechter interview at sole collector where they -essentially- admitted that their product quality is hopelessly ****** and said that they will improve it,but still I'm not that sure it will be "99 quality"... I also really wish they release the White/Reds with the NIKE AIR too.
In other news, I was lucky enough to meet Michael Jordan here in Greece while wearing an IV Bred pair.It was a surreal experience for sure...

thats kind of the point though right.. for JB to always make us want more, and more.. that way we keep spending money on all these colorways..
for example sport blue 3's this past weekend.. there is no way JB would sell out this shoe if there were Nike ID for Jordan 3's.

Met him many times while working as a valet at Harrah's Casino in Joliet(45 mins out of Chi) He literally had a police escort to the Casino! Depending on how much he lost/won was how his mood went. And before yall ask, NO I did not get to park his car...we moved a bunch of cars out, he parked and then we barricaded his rides. Did get to park Pip's Range and Rodman's H1 though...

I hope they don't put the black cement 4s and 3s as a pack.. If I don't get on release day, Id never be able to afford them on ebay. The wc88s go for almost $500, and '12 bred 4s are around 300. Just imagine those with nike air as a pack. Resell would probably be $900-1k
