I hate the IX and I'll be the first to admit that the color blocking is interesting and that is definetely the "NBA Cares" logo, or at least looks like it, at first glance.  
This makes a shoe that looks bulky like a pair of military issue boots and makes it look like they would at least belong in a Gym...
