I remember reading the 8 gave MJ horrible athletes foot. Not breathable at all.

In retrospect, the should have put a breathable material for the underlay underneath the strap areas for breathability. Or at very least had air holes in those areas like the panels on the 6s had.

Still not worried about these. My wife got the notification and tried to buy. They sent her a password for her Nike account.
