Air randy and sds used real carbon fiber. Easiest tell was either the "jumpman Joqdan" tag, or the "23" on the massive heel tab

^^ But even those items were perfected in the later versions. Nowadays, its tough to figure out what's real or what's fake. (Unless you have both in front of you.)

Fakes are getting very good... I only buy on RD too from retailers... occasional eBay purchase from an individual, never a "dealer"
