The material on the back heel of the classic colorway where the 40 is placed is a shiny material that resembles the toe in the pictures. Maybe it is the same?

Looks to be a satin kind of material. Potentially like the heel tab of the Classics like a couple of others have said.

They have degrees, we don’t, the fact of the matter is us guys that grew up wearing Jordan’s don’t even know the path(s) to take to work in the sportswear industry, I know I didn’t, it’s a lot like what happened to Hip-Hop, squares who don’t wear the clothes or listen to the music supposedly know best, they don’t have the foot width or foot shape to understand what we’re really looking for, they’ve never felt pro level impact, it’s all just numbers to them, they’ll never truly understand the relationship a ball player really has with his shoes which are intended to function as an extension of the foot, as far as aesthetics are concerned, they’re hipsters, wokies and nerds, they’re doing an impression of ‘bold and urban’.

Its pretty rare for almost every PE to be better in terms of colorway compared to original colorway releases lol. Cant say this enough but what an absolutely weird release for JB on this model.

Caught a glimpse of Roman reigns on sports center. Then went straight to Google for some clear images. Probably just a black version of these. I assume they are wrestling boots.

Younger crowd? Where’s the shape? These things look like birthday cakes, colorways/textiles are doing all the heavy lifting here and it’s clearly all aimed at clearing out Uncs savings.
