When the XVII's originally came out, many people were shocked at the $200 price tag. Included with the shoes were a metal briefcase packaging MJ's comeback shoe with the Wizards. Also included was a dvd-rom which highlighted the shoe. To this day it remains an underrated Air Jordan, but with each passing year, it's climbing my all time ranks. The shoe just seems to get better with age...

I just have a pair of the CDP's. I like them a lot though, but first time I wore them I made the mistake of leaving the Gators on, which squeezed the hellout of my feet (lol). But they're comfortable without it, I actually like the CDP's more then the OG Black/Silver.

XVII's have grown alot on me...as I'm typing this, I'm wearing the cdp version, and I love how easy they are to put on because of the lycra collarpad...the shoes just slip on.

I wouldn't mind copping a few pairs of OG's in the near future either since I was nieve enough to pass them up back in 2002....

If they retroed the white/blue XVII's without the case for $150, I'd be first in line. They were the best bball shoes I've ever worn.

I honestly would buy 1 pair to wear, 1 to play in, and 1 to keep in case they don't retro them again.
