wireless or ethernet?

a repair of your device, new drivers, restart machine, pay your internet bill, change your ip settings. not in that order.

$24.99 for remote support/ 10 mins

Since I'm assuming it's wireless, you have 2 options.  You can restart your computer and try to reconnect.  If that doesn't work and you are able to connect through another device, try to disconnect your router and modem.  Plug the modem back in after 15 seconds and let it set until all lights are back on.  Then plug your router back in and let it reboot for 30 seconds.  Your problem should be fixed then.  If that doesn't work, try calling your ISP and having them work on your connection.

Disconnect the router for 10 seconds then plug it back in and see if it works.

Not to thread jack............... But anyone got a clue as to why my god damn internet D/C's every 90 seconds and then comes back on real quick? It goes on continuously, I've restarted the router tried using different adapters with my laptop, and moved the router around.

buy a new router.

i cant explain it, but sometimes routers just run out the course of their useful life.  I had a similar issue with my old wireless router.  I finally got fedup and just ordered a new router off newegg for like $25 and its been smooth sailing since.  $25 for my peace of mind was a great deal.

for personal experience, this had happened to me plenty

it wasn't because i had a bad router etc.. but it was my internet company that had issues..

i have Time Warner for mine (SoCal).

-----------

@ Undefeatedx37 - some desktop requires a MODEM from your internet company (do you have that?)

considering i have plenty computers in my house 1 being a desktop (both the router, and modem are connected to it) to get my internet signal up.

if none of those ideas work... considering the fact you have a phone with Bluetooth...turn on the Bluetooth, connect it to your computer (via USB) make your phone 'discoverable' and add your phone as a device on your computer and vuala ...the internet you pay for on your phone has now a become a 'hotspot/router' for the computer you are using.

so if you ping websites do you get response?  If you ping webpages and get a response and webpages aren't loading up its usually a winsocks error.  assuming you're using windows OS
