Im just not feeling his music after It Was Written. There are maybe 10 or so songs that I think are ill from his later albums and thats not a lot at all. Idkwhat it is. I just dont think hes that great after It Was Written. I know all of you guys are gunna stoneface the hell out of my but to each his own right.Discuss

No. I think Nas after Illmatic is extremely mediocre. And Illmatic is my favorite album period.

He's either being very sarcastic or stupid. Although never stated the way you phrased it many Nters have expressed this view. Then again I maybe wrong since I don't see many Nters saying Stillmatic was meh, average, or trash which I assume you do.

And go see some j-love Nas mixtapes..lots of heat in vol 1-3

Nas never quite made another Illmatic level album but he still grew and evolved since then. I Am... was solid, Stillmatic is one of the best albums ofall-time, God's Son was excellent, Streets Disciple was good, and Untitled was probably the best mainstream album of '08. It isn't all aboutlyrics, as time went on he experimented with different flows, different song concepts, expanded his message, even started dropping a little knowledge.
