Amaré to Warriors for Curry, Biedrins, Wright and/or Belinelli?

GSW just might. I know Amare want his options for the 2010 off-season. Like people have said before, why would he extend a contract to a team that is rebuilding?

Nah, I think a decent amount don't like the trade (that is if you're referring to the Warriors in that last two sentences). They'rerebuilding and have solid pieces, why go and mess things up again? Last year they signed Maggette as a quick-fix thing, but they only lost cap space as opposedto young talent. Then they extend Jackson before he even proves himself. The Amar'e thing is another quick fix. It's not like the trade puts them overthe top since they weren't even contending, so at most this trade does is make them contend. Of course it could all go bad and they're stuck with anextended Amar'e, Jackson, and Maggette instead of the youngsters finally taking over the team and coming into their own.

Amar'e wants his money and to be the man. In Phoenix he's probably not gonna get his money, so that's why he's wanted out. The Warriors havethe leverage here and shouldn't budge. If it doesn't go through then no biggie because the Suns might lose him for nothing because they wouldn'twant to pay him the max.

I think the teams are both better off not doing the trade, that is unless Phoenix thinks Amar'e is gonna walk when his contract is done. Then they'lltry and get something in return, similar to Bosh and Toronto if Bosh decides he wants out.

Some of you guys dont think right. The warriors are dumb but not THAT dumb to give PHX all those young players and get Stat for 1 year as a rent a player. Itsalready been said that the warriors are going to make him sign an extended contract. No way the trade goes down without stat signing an extension.

this needs to happen for the franchise imo. monta/jackson/randolph/STAT... is a playoff team with or without curry. i believe ellis having a whole offseason totrain as a pg will be great for him.

AS much as I would like to see Capt. Jack and Maggette's contract dissapear it won't happen. I wouldn't want to see J-Rich back inOakland IMO unless he comes off the bench...Belinelli actually works hard and hustles on defense.

seems like a decent move, but it sounds like a move we're going to regret a lot in the future, so don't do it riley...

just seems like the warriors are too focused on being in "win-now" mode when the ceiling of that potential will NOT get a championship. rowell seemscontent with beking a 6/7 seed (at best) and then not being able to contend well enough with the top seeds. if it's really for all four of those players,i'm going to fly from taiwan to oakland just to punch rowell in the face, and hold him hostage to have him pay for my round-trip plane ticket. it justfeels to me that rowell just wants another "we believe" run to generate profits, and he doesn't care about seriously constructing achampionship-caliber team.
