Amazon Mechanical Turk.. Put me on please... Discuss

So i have been looking at Amazon Mturk and see some folks make decent money and some like $100 a day

Can somebody put me on to this such as how time need to be invested,tips,  advice and about how much money one can except to make.

Also do anybody know of any turk forums. I found one but i dont know if it is the main one

It gets tedious trying to find turks you're qualified for and that are not dead yet. I would spend 15 min./day turkin' and get about $50/mo so I could pay for my gym membership.

This is VERY PETTY money, it's a huge waste of time IMO unless you just have No money at all

A Hit = a task. It could be a survey, categorizing YouTube comments, playing a game, etc.


Looking back I was on that **** heavy lol, I had Firefox scripts, was using the subeddit, and the mturk forum to find good hits. Some people are on there heavy which leads to big money, but I recommend turking as an easy way to make a few dollars if you're bored. I was unemployed at the time so I had a good amount of free time to Turk. My attention span was just too short to be on there more than an hour at a time though.

It's tough to calculate hours per week, because it's all about the amount paid and time a hit takes. For example you can do a 5min survey that pays 50 cents, which is good. There's no guarantee there will be a bunch of hits like that, so you might be stuck doing 1 cent HITs or something that won't net a lot of money. Just read around the mturk forum and check out the FAQs. After a few consistent days of turking, checking that subreddit, and the forum you'll figure out which hits are the best and which one

Like I would do one where you search colleges' athletic sites and put then find contact info for coaches. It paid 10 cent per school and was easy as hell.
