No. It connects to your Wifi and to your garage door opener. You can let people into your garage or close your garage door from anywhere if you forgot to close it.

yup, there's no setup or anything that needs to be done. Basically looks like Netflix.
Only issue is the ads that pop up when you start a movie. Usually a quick 15-20 sec video then once you skip movie starting

Also you may not have the same access to high definition videos
I don't have a 4k tv so I don't often look to see if they have those level videos, but typically they stream in 720p with 1080p being available as well
