Anchovies...

Just ate a pizza with them on it, and I damn near puked. Quite possibly the most putrid thing I have ever eaten. How do people eat this? Taste like bitter salt.

I got a caesar salad last week and I didn't know the restaurant put them in it.

I was halfway through it when I noticed the smell of fish.

I remembered some salads contain these things and quit eating it.

Classic Caesar dressing is made with them. But I do enjoy them in general. Spread em on on a saltine. Yum.

mmm i love adding sardines to a pasta with roasted cauliflower and wilted kale. great on pizza.

its an acquired taste ~ not everyone is man enough to handle the sea

I aint ever seen an anchovie in my caeser salad tho

The anchovies are mashed into a paste then added to the dressing before its whisked. They basically add a salty flavor and some natural oil.

The only bad thing I have to say about pizza and anchovies is that it's not really seen on many pizza menus anymore. But there is a local spot that does it

Ive been eating pizza in NY for like 19 years and not once have I seen it on a menu. Ive never had the opportunity to try it.

The only reason I even know they put it on pizza is cuz of ninja turltes always talkin about pizza with anchovies.

I only eat fish when Im on a diet so if I saw it now I doubt Id try it cuz pizza and diet dont mix).
