angry waiters

Many moons ago, I took my wife to this local hipster spot and as we approached the door this heroin addict looking chick was dazed out cutting in front of us so I held the door open for her. Turns out she was the waitress... We walk in after her and she just walks by as if we weren't even there. I had to flag her down to get a seat. I would've seated myself, but they had the sign up: "Please wait to be seated."

So when we're finally seated, she THROWS the silverware on the table and hurriedly walks away. When she comes back with our waters, I tell her I'm ready to order, this chick brazenly says, "well, I'm not ready to take your order" and walks off again.

I lost it...

I smacked the chips and salsa across the table and chips fly everywhere, while the salsa covered the window next to us. I got up and grabbed my wife and dipped. As I'm leaving I spot two of the goons who either owned the spot or just worked there following me out, so I get my wife to the car and turn around to confront them with a "wussup?" They thought I was gonna back down or some #%#! but as soon as I got aggressive they changed their tune, asking me what the problem was. I told them that they have a rude $$+ waitress and that I'm tired of the attitude every time I eat there. They said some dumb #%#! about talking to her and I left. Haven't been back since.

I've also learned to control my anger since then.

My wife still brings that story up when I'm about to confront someone for bad service.
