Just a couple things:

First color is going to be released on October 6, 2002.

They are going to be a White/Black Mid, but here is the part I am finding hard to believe, the price tag...

$139.99

JM

I can see stores selling them for 125 or so still.........

and I can also see Reebok lowering their price before the release, and maybe just having a special edition version that is more expensive (exclusive, etc.)

But thanks for the info JM, by the way, I didn't get to tell you, those Furys you were talking about to me are on kickz.com for about 100 bucks, they are the Barcelona versions (or thats what I was told they were called), anyway, if you didn't know, just letting ya in on the info, I haven't been on AIM lately...

Well, we have actually seen a trend of lowering prices of shoes before this past year or two. In the early 90's, the Pumps were 150 - 180, the nike 180 Forces were 150, and that was back in 1990. Nowdays, for the most part, you can get GREAT performing shoes for 85-100 dollars, such as TMacs, XBeams, Jet Flights, etc. It is now the newest market trend that the TOP sig shoes, such as Jordans/Kobe/Answers are rising again, but as I said before, I can see them lowering it before release OR having stores sell them for 130 or so. I can't wait for them though, they look great and I think they will perform up to the "usual" Answer standard unlike the Vs, which looked nice but weren't nearly as good as the IVs in terms of performance.

DMXFURY,

I got that information from a list of everything that has been bought for Champs Sports as of June 5th (that was the date, I think). So the color, release date, and price are already set into the computer systems, etc.

But... like you said, they can permanetly markdown shoes before they come out (examps, Griffey Shox made there way from $139.99 to $119.99 before they were released).

Thanks JM, good info. And yeah, hopefully that will be the case, cause as much as I love reebok and the Answer series, even I know that they won't sell for 140 or whatever. 115-125 is a good price for their sig shoe. Oh well, we shall see, thanks again
