Any EMTs in here?

I'm an ex EMT-B. That's how I started off in medical. Study, study, study. Exam was easy for me, passed first try.

Just gotta narrow it down. Your job as an EMT is to transport as soon as possible. Evaluate, assess, transport. Basically, keep the person alive, protect the spine, transport. Shock position for lots of blood loss, recognize the signs, take vitals, etc.

Man, I wish I stuck with it :smh: . I was so happy being an EMT.

Good Luck!

Oh, and there is a study guide for the test. That helped me.

Major key read read read. I'm in my 3rd semester of medic school now. Just always remember ABC or CAB depending on the patient. If your patient has no pulse or circulation is comprised due to severe bleeding or something like that it's CAB first. You'll get it. Just zero in and ask ?s
