what is the definition of "rich"??? because ones view will vary from the next. i can be rich because i have loads of money, and a nice house, andnice cars. but to one rich may mean rich in family love, honor,clothes on their back and a home to live in. the definition of rich is the most important thing.

i made 165K + bonuses last year after i got my masters in mathematical finance ivy style
no i dont buy sneakers or blow ******ed money on sweaters or anything like that. people that earn their money by working 75 hours a week arent gonna throw itaway on sneakers. i do spend a good amount on suits and watches though but nothing i cant handle

this is why i am the way i am........even though i live in CT the next state over....i messed with NY growin up heavy, pops from there, got fam out there etc.Nobody in the jects out in CT be on the level them dudes in NY do at all.
New Haven an rest of 203 area code might get a lil more fly but NY dont play around.

Yeah, like everyone's said, NT is full of screwed up priorities and stuntin'.
I drive a 350z, I pay my own bills, own my condo, and support myself. So every now and then, I'll splurge on a thing or two. Believe you'll never seeme stepping out in a with LV sneakers, LV jeans, and a $300 LV Limited Edition t-shirt. That's like 6 car payments.
BUT, I don't have any kids or a significant other to support. Let's say my girl gets pregnant, well then it's time to cut all that $#@ out.
You can't judge what gets posted in the pick-up thread or the high-end threads, because a MAJORITY of the dudes on here posting Gucci this, LV that, havethat stuff laid across some ratchet looking bed with dirty sheets and you can see the dingy looking walls in the background.
High end fashion brands are no longer a bar to measure wealth.

rich is relative- but if your talking XXX amount of $ then yea sneaker showcase is def not the place to judge wealth
clothes/sneakers/accessories are not a good wealth indicator anymore unless its consistent...esp with the recent high end craze - most people are charging,saving up paychecks, or skipping meals to cop - then you got those that cop, take pix, wear for a week then resell for a small discount -
this convo can go a million ways-
theres rich people that drive 1996 camrys but wear 100k watches - people that drive lambos and buy jeans from target
people who are rich today and become wealthy 2morro - people that are rich today and blow it and are regular or broke the next day...

Rich in my book means Net Worth. Assets and investment portfolios greater than your liabilities.
Plus if you're a professional, its very unethical to discuss how much money you're making.

Real talk. I might get flamed for this, but eff it.
I see a lot of talk in here about BMWs and all these other nicer cars, but everyone is looking for a steal. I see countless "what can I get for under5K", or people getting a car 5 yrs old or even older just so that they can get the better brand.
I drive a brand new Camry fully loaded with everything. Its no BMW or something, but its all me and its all new. Sometimes people get so caught up in the namethat they refuse to admit that by the time it gets to them all theyre really paying for is a name and nothing else.
