Anybody Count Cards Succesfully Here?

I know there's a specific, must read book, that teaches you how to count cards in Blackjack, and bet properly to not get caught. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Anybody actually make good money doing this? Tips? Stories?

learned how but never took it to the casino. i have piss poor luck. ill get caught.

dealer: "sir, whats the count?"
me: "plus sev... awwww damn

some people can count 5 decks, so im sure the basic strategy behind it will still work.

i dont think its that big a deal if you "get caught".  i was in vegas with a group of friends once, and a mutual friend (who counts) was just asked to leave (and not come back) from certain casinos.  security was very cordial about it but said that they would charge him with trespassing if he returned.  no big deal, we just went to the next casino over (this was in downtown vegas.  i have not had any 1st hand experience with counters on the strip).
