Anybody from Greensville South Carolina? (Moving) What should I know?

So I am moving for short time from So Cali, to Greensville SC.

Trying to find a nice place to stay for a few months, anything I should know about the town? suggestions on transportation? (I won't be taking my car) What is the town like? what should I be looking to pay rent wise for something nice?

What a downgrade in lifestyle. SC really really sucks but the cost of living is cheap so that's one positive

Ya it's going to be a pretty big change, But it won't be forever.........Just for a time

I'm sure there's a bus system there but public transportation in the south sucks compared to the north and cali. I don't know what you consider nice but a very nice 1 bedroom can be rented for 700 ...avg prices for decent to nice is 550-670

Wouldn't dip below 550 cause you're gonna end up in a crappy complex ...550 is fringe but decent ones can be found

someone i knew who worked out there for a few months said he rented a big *** 2 bedroom apartment with 20 foot ceilings for like $800  a month...
