Read his memoir "White Like Me" and bought copies for all my white friends (4 in total). Recently finished his take on President Obama "post-racial age in "Between Barack and a Hard Place."
I'm about to purchase new book out now "Color Blind."

Yup. One of my favorite "public figures" and the mother #@$@## man in general. White Like Me and Between Barack and a Hard Place are GREAT reads and every white person could benefit from reading them... Wise is one of the few white folks who have a deep understanding AND keep it 100 when it comes to race.
I have yet to pick up his other two books but they are on my list after I finish reading the 30 or so unread books that I currently have at the crib

Back in college, my professor said I reminded her of a "black Tim Wise" and suggested I read his work.
