Anyone regularly hit the casinos to gamble?

Baccarat. I've won 8,000 only starting with 400. But part of my strategy is just placing a big bet down and If I hit , I hit and if I don't cut my losses and leave immediately. sometimes it works because if I put 500 down and hit thats 1000. I can put my initial 5 into my pocket and build up with the casino money until im ready to make a power move again. My foolish tendencies workout sometime and others they don't.

I placed a 2,500 bet down and actually hit scariest moment in my life lol. Everything was going in slo-mo.

Roulette is the game.  So many different ways to win, and It's the only game you can win and loss on each play; but still get your money back till you hit big.  The payout to bet ratio can't be matched.

Haven't gambled in a while, but I've been meaning to get back in it.  Anyone know any good trustworthy online gambling sites.

Got put on to bacarrat and that game can be addicting especially if you're hitting :pimp:. Can make a lot of money fast too but that can go either way

next time i go to vegas i think im gonna play pai gow
i just want to drink for free

Used to play Texas No Limit, pretty regularly. Most I've won is $500. Started with $100. The last time I played, I doubled up and walked away up $160. My problem is it's boring to hit and get up, so I'll sit there until I give it all back to the table.

My strategy though? Don't *** bet. If I have a ****** hand, I don't play it. Rarely ever bluff. Now if I know a dude at the table winning with ******** (showing his hand after we all fold) I might test him, but I really don't get caught up in that head to head pissing contest. I just play the whole table.

Went to the casino a few yrs back to play BJ.. in the midst of waitng I grab a few drinks and kinda get a good buzz going. I eventually find my way to a slot machine and shove maybe $40 in it. SO as im working my machine and giving the ****** dealer time to move around i end up chatting with some ol head who was in there playing slots as well. We are chatting and im hitting buttons not paying attention and i hear him say "you finally got that thing spinning" I say yea like no big deal. SO we PROCEED to finish our convo and my machine is still spinning, it goes about 7-10 times and blacks out and i jackpot 15k.. no **** i still have the W-2 for it. anyhow it sort of got me interested into playing slots but i'd rather play BJ it just seems safer to me. I go to vegas quite a bit and only play BJ no slots. maybe this year i will tho.. going in July ...

I Iive in Vegas and I can't stand gambling

Even I turned 21 and family took me out and paid for my games, I didn't enjoy it!

always sneaking away to lake charles to play black jack for hours at a time. it's a two hour drive so it isn't that bad for me. but yeah, the blackjack and roulette when im feeling balsy.

Gotta coupl friends into it big here in Baltimore. Last time I went to Delaware park. I lost like 150 and kept it moving. Not really my thing but my friends make car money on those tables.

Went to vegas last month
Lost $1,600 gambling :smh:
That damn roulette
I would be up
Then lose
Then keep playing cause I don't wanna walk away with a loss
I think I may have a problem
Can't wait to go back though

I usually play for leisure, craps, roulette and baccarat are my games.... I set a limit for how much I'm willing to lose and leave my ATM card at home.

I live a ferry ride away from Macau, so no matter how much I'm up gambling (not too much) I always end up spending it on extra curricular activities...

I live in Delaware and having Delaware Park so close can be bittersweet

Have seen people and friends win 30k+ at table games. never was that lucky to hit that big. not the smartest motto to go by, but high risk high reward.

Ive won thousands but also lost thousands. Usually play blackjack, roullete, pai gow, and craps. Im most knowledgeable in blackjack but enjoy craps when the table gets really hot. just a more fun atmosphere if youre trying to enjoy the gambling experience

Gambling is such a waste of time imo

I'd rather work an honest days work for money than sit in a smokey casino pulling a lever or pushing a button.

I guess some people find it fun, but would they do it if the winnings weren't available?

As someone who gambles for a living, I find this thread very amusing.

What do you play?

I've watched enough poker to know my "strategy" isn't how to be a pro, but it works for me if I'm just trying to win a quick hundred or something. I can't deal with with stress of losing big money. Not in me.

from an odds point of view roulette is a sucker game tho.

ive been meaning to try baccarat but i dont really understand what the strategy is. is it all about bet sizing and knowing when to size up? do you just look for the asian whale at the table and just follow his bet? Is there any real purpose for tracking cards played and outcomes?

It's impossible to track cards. The have a board that shows all the outcomes of the current shoe but I try not to get to caught up in that as well. I usually just bet with my gut instinct. The asian whale usually hates me for it because I will bet against everybody if I am feeling it.

my top 10 advice for people playing roulette (been playing it for 7 years+ and counting)....because I've seen sooo many highs and lows of the game, it is soooo sick !!!

1) start out small (eg: $50 or $100 or $200 or more if you are brave) ...What you want is to feel out the table...the key is AMMO when firing a bet / buying in
2) if you see a winning player, ride off of them (red vs black)
3) if you seeing a losing player, bet the opposite of them (red vs black)
4) don't forget the 0-00's
5) if you keep seeing red or black hitting, LET IT RIDE for like 3-5 more times
6) if you are losing (5 spins or more and nothing goes your way) ...skip at least 8-10 spins and observe the environment, or at least tone down the bet
7) don't underestimate repeating numbers (be aggressive, ESPECIALLY if it is the dealer's preferred number)
8) LEARN when to walk away.... It is better to leave with A LOT or something, then leave in the hole (negative)
9) tip the dealer
10) ***most important tip**** ENJOY THE GAME !!!
