Has anyone tried to give up eating red meat? If so was there any kind of benefits? Or does it not really even matter and consume in moderation. Your thoughts?

I just fasted for 5 days....no holds are barred with the foods....but YouTube Dr Sebi and watch one of his lectures, should answer your question

^^^Thanks for the suggestion. Dr. Sebi is very informative. How did the fast go?

I was meatless (no jomo) for a year and half and it wen't pretty well. I felt good about my body, and for some reason, I was more energized. The effed up part about it was when my friends found out, bastards threw a huge bbq

. Nonetheless, it was a good experience. Not to mention, I lost 15 lbs without any type of exercise (fap not included)

alot of it was probably muscle if you werent getting enough protein in ur diet

I tried...for like 3 days. I swear I have the least addictive personality of anyone I know but when it comes to red meat I'm done. The only thing that still keeps me holding on to the inkling that there may be a God is the fact that cows exist. True story.

I eat it once a week or less. I just prefer other meats and don't like the idea of it sitting in my stomach for says. I like chicken and fish best so naturally that's what I always eat.

i hardly eat steak or stuff like that, about once a week ground meat

been eating a lot of chicken lately...getting tired of it

Gave up red meat a couple years ago.

I've been eating vegetarian for the past year and some change.

I probably eat red meat less than a handful of times a year, and that's usually in the summer grilling

I'm so use to turkey, chicken, fish in my daily rotation in life over the years

Don't feel the need to give it up entirely when I barely eat it at all

I went a month without red meat! I F'ed up when my family brought home a pizza with the works extra meat ( no romo)! But that month without meat I had way more energy than usual

definitely good for reducing your environmental impact.

In terms of health, if you replace it with leaner proteins, then you'll be helping yourself, but if you replace it by eating more starchy foods, that's not really going to be a good move

I haven't had red meat in almost a year. I eat fish, turkey, and chicken on the reg. The first month of no red meat was a huge diff, I felt so much more energy, and felt healthy. Needless to say I live a healthy lifestyle now, and red meat is not missed. Ground beef is the worst red meat for you btw. I've lost substantial amount of fat, and kept my muscle over the year. Red meat has no factor in my protein intake and that's just fine. I have many other routes for it.
