Apple store help?

Ask questions first.

I did the same thing you're doing but instead of the apple store I did it at bestbuy..

They canceled my number with T-Mobile and Switched it to Sprint. 3 Weeks later, I get a fat bill from Tmobile. They said because I didnt have them cancel my number, they had to charge me for a full month of billing. I got my phone at the end of November 1. One stupid day and Tmobile charged me as if I used their services for a whole month. Never again will I go to Tmobile.

You cancelled your contract that's why. Its a $200 fee when you do that.

look into the early termination fee of your current provider.

then ask the apple store if its an issue to port your #

when you go in, be sure to have your bill with you to help the process go smoothly

my advice would be to do everything at the sprint store. the reason being you can get a rep to waive your activation fee for sure. especially it being the end of the month with dudes looking to meet their quota/commission.

good luck and enjoy your new iPhone!!!

You sure can

Just tell them you want to port your number over to the new phone. All youre going to need is your account number for t-mobile.

I work at sprint. the term is called "port" you walk in there and say, can you port my number over from t-mobile

ALL YOU NEED IS

Phone number:
ACCT # :
Billing Adresses:
PW or Last 4 Digits of SSN:
When it happens it cancels your acct with T-mobile. ALSO it will take a couple hours for the port to happen, so most likely they will tell you you can activate once your tmobile phone stops working.

Wave activation fee? we cant waive that anymore. thats something you need to contact sprint for, so 611 from your sprint phone.

Id recommend heading to a sprint store first, try your luck and see if they have any i phones in.. if not your 2nd best bet would the apple. although im not to sure how apple deals with with stuff.

If you are going to switch to Sprint, I would check to see if they brought back that $125 port in credit. I switched to Sprint from Verizon back in October and got two months free after 90 days.

My contract was up in September. We were doing a month to month thing. We didnt upgrade our phones and we did not extend our contract. Because I canceled my number with tmobile through bestbuy, thats why they charged me the fee. I tried my hardest not to pay but it says it in your contract.
