Only thing June is about is ios9, nothing about new phone.

Still currently on iOS 7.0.3 with the 5S but it's still fast. Would it slow my phone down if I go to 8.3? Also I'm planning to jailbreak soon if that matters.

I hope apple does jump straight to the 7 and stops doing these S models, innovation has stifled and I don't see much outside of a design change that would wow me.

They show the phone week/2weeks ahead of launch!

iphone unveilings are usually on a tuesday with preorders starting that friday and release the following friday. that's how it was last release. the one before didn't have preorders.

but yeah, we won't be getting phone news in june. to the guy who wants to get a new phone or wait, i'd just get the 6/6+ if you absolutely need one now. if you have a good enough phone now, i'd wait until september.

If you're looking for something a little more rugged I believe this comes in the 6 as well.

Just restore it
