Don Bonus doc was hilarious and painful at the same time..really captures the struggle that teen-aged children of immigrants face in urban schools. i havent seen it in a good while but IIRC there's one scene where he talks about his family getting burglarized and the same person who stole their TV tried to sell it back to him (or something as bizarre as that)

sidenote, i was hella close to becoming a teacher at Galileo but ended up taking a position at a smaller HS in the excelsior

10 years ago,after KTV in Manhattan, we all went to another KTV in Queens called DIY. I was drunk and didn't want to do KTV anymore, so I went outside for fresh air. Took a walk and stumbled into a Piano bar there. Didn't know the name but just went in alone. Had a fun night by myself and random girls.
