Numerically it is one of the "highest grossing movie of ALLLL TTTIIIMMMEEE"
In real/adjusted terms, that plateau still belongs to "Gone with the Wind" (which is a much better film...to say the least)

one of the most overrated movies i have ever seen. the 3D was cool, yeah. every single movie coming out afterward being in 3D and most of them not even filmed in 3D was NOT as cool.

Its not for everyone...just like every other film ever made.
Personally, I Loved it. Not the most original story but I still enjoyed everything he created. Some of those scenes were unreal.
