Bachelor Pad.

I would. I just caulked and outside window over the weekend and used tape to make sure it didn't get all over the brick
Appreciate it pa. Something about caulking just seemed like a daunting task to me

Would you use it for caulking?

I have to re-caulk my tub and been putting off long enough

You don’t want to caulk a tub - it needs to be silicone. (That’s maybe just a terminology thing though).

I’ve used tape for that before but now I don’t. The key to really good adhesion is a clean surface - give it a wipe with rubbing alcohol as your last stage then run a bead along it and using a silicone profiling tool ($5 on Amazon) and you’ll get a really good finish.

The problem with tape is that when you pull it off it lifts the edge slightly - you want it well stuck down.

The colors look good but have you met my friend?

This was my apartment over a decade ago when l moved to Texas. That was basically everything l had to my name. I might fix the imperfections of my current spot at some point, but it's not high priority. I don't really care much honestly. Im content with it and proud of my progress.

I've been on a tear with silicone this month - redid around my front door, the whole bathroom and just doing the kitchen window in preparation for a new kitchen being installed next week.

Think this is as good as I'm going to get - really pleased with it.
