Banshee  takes place in the fictional small town of Banshee, Pennsylvania. After serving 15 years in prison for stealing diamonds from a Ukrainian gangster called Mr. Rabbit, the unnamed protagonist travels to Banshee to find his heist accomplice and former lover, Anastasia. When he finds her, the protagonist learns that she is now a married mother of two living under the assumed identity of Carrie Hopewell. Later, when the incoming Sheriff is killed, the protagonist takes on his identity as Lucas Hood, becoming the town's new Sheriff. Banshee  sees Hood struggle with adapting to his new identity while dealing with the machinations of local crime lord Kai Proctor, and remaining hidden from Rabbit

yeah, I made the thread for the first season but it didn't get much traffic, hopefully I can draw in more people

season one is still on demand for anyone the has HBO/Cinemax

Finished my 4th episode last night. Cinemax pulls NO punches when it comes to this Over the top sex/violence in every episode. Don't need to overthink when watching...just sit back and enjoy mindless entertainment. It's a pretty good show. I'll give it a 7/10 so far.

OK, I'm bumping my rating up to 8/10. Show is EXCELLENT.

It's good characters, story, action and sex (almost too much) and for the most part, mindless

i'm about to start rewatching s1 so I can be refreshed before the new season starts on the 10th

watched all of last season... really good
had a few gripes with this show in the beginning... one of them being that a mob boss is ACTUALLY calling himself rabbit... lol
that fight with Ana and Olek :x they messed that house UP!
will be watching from now on...
