Defender out of position, defensive foul

I'm calling offensive on that - the defender wasn't legal - but IMO that doesn't matter because the offensive player dropped his shoulder and pushed into him.

There’s no extension and minimal shoulder dip and contact was made with defender not in legal position. Not sure why reward the defender because he’s weak. I think it’s a defensive foul but offsetting fouls would be a soft/acceptable call imo

Btw a little “grey area” imo bball play….
You know when a defender puts their hand on the offensive player and the offensive player smacks the hand off them…. Like not even during an attack , no advantage gained by either side. See it all the time right? In a pick up game I smacked a hand check off me, not even aggressively, I barely even realized I did it. the defender got all sensitive, consistent with the softness of their generation (due prob 25). I didn’t even know til I looked it up after that it’s an offensive foul lol. See it all the time but never seen it called.

Jarrett Allen probably got some Kohls cash for the cause.

2012 was peak cornball era for sure but Shai not really impressive for someone in your supposed prime.

Thought Al Harrington was a MJ impersonator at first in that 2000 slide.

i’ve never seen the smack/swim over(or the even more egregious defender arm grab/yank) called either…i see many ig trainers actually rep these out w/players 🤷🏿‍♂️

I don't even have a solid memory of Briscoe. Great moves. Seemed to always keep defenders off balance, and then when they stayed attached, he just used leverage to get his shot off, or switched it to the left. Also had a good amount of hang time. Looks like he's got the basketball equivalent of 'football speed'.

he plays & moves like a hooper who knew he would get further playing football

a bunch of D2 & low D1 hoopers that should have just focused on football instead lol
