Battlefield 4: The Thread

That's what I thought ...
Meanwhile, the servers are online !

See you on the field :smokin

Does the skyscraper in the middle just collapse on its own after an elapsed time? It's hilarious how the bulding falls into the water all herky jerky and then the rubble just rises from the ground

Do I need a marginally better PC to run BF4? I could run on High pretty smoothly on BF3.

Just played two games, it's something I have to adjust too. Definitely not a CoD, but strategies are fun as hell! Especially when the skyscraper fell, I was able to jump off that thing as it collapsed. Saw most of my team mates go skull. :pimp:

It runs around 10 frames per second less on average than BF3 on my rig. Not really much of a performance hit. Could be worse for multiple monitor setups.

As seen in my previous post, you are the one in control of taking the skyscraper down. It takes a while and multiple hits to bring the four required pillars down. Need a bit of team effort (or at least a tank) to do so.

If you have PS3, a mic, and are a team player then add me to your friends list. I'll be playing this game a lot once it drops on Tuesday.

PSN: kjbaron89

Also, for those of you holding out for PS4, it's not necessary. Read below:
PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4 digital upgrade program, which lets gamers move up to a next-gen copy of select PS3 games for only $10. Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and Watch Dogs will all be part of the offer, and the discount applies to both physical and digital versions of their lesser PS3 counterparts. Packaged copies of each game will include a code that can be redeemed on PlayStation Network for a PS4 digital download of the same title. Just remember not to throw away the original disc when your PlayStation 4 arrives; you'll need the original PS3 Blu-ray to activate each PS4 download.

BF4 Launch Times Worldwide

http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/forum/threadview/2955064766221437710/

Wondering when you'll be able to jump into Battlefield 4? Find your region below for worldwide pre-load and launch timing.

Pre-load means that, starting at the listed time, you'll be able to go ahead and download your game early, but won't be able to play until the stated release time. Pre-loading lets you get your download process finished earlier so that you can get in to the game the second it's out in your region. You'll be able to pre-load Battlefield 4 at least 24 hours before the game's release in your region. Some players may be able to pre-load earlier than others depending on when the game is set to release per region.

Find your country in our Region Definitions article if you're unsure which release-region you're in.
If Battlefield 4 is available for pre-load in your region and you're having difficulty downloading or installing, there may have been an error processing your order. Stay tuned to your Origin Account's email address, and if there is a problem with your order, you should receive an email soon.
