Before McD's white meat nuggets what were they made with?

Well that's a safe bet considering chickens don't have teeth.

i hated the dark meat back then, always bit it and placed it down and tried to search for the white meat, but when it comes to popeyes....dark meat > whitemeat nh
 
I remember there being really chewy nuggets and I used to love those. Hate to think about what it really was now

Rats used to get caught in the machinery at the processing plants. Rat meat tends to be dark. It is easier for quality control to filter out rat meat fromwhite meat chicken.
With dark meat chicken, alot of rats slipped through the cracks.
