Do a lot of them do a good job getting their students to PT school?

I would think so, but it's all relative to the student. Put in the work and you shouldn't have a problem getting into PT school. Be active in the major and be well known by the professors of the program. Be very active in the Kineseology Student Organization and of course take advantage of any internship opportunities in clinics or elsewhere.

Don't find the best program, find the 3rd or 4th, maybe even 5th program and do it to your best.....that way if you plan on grad school, you have a good chance

Poorly stated but I somewhat agree.  Don't place emphasis on getting into the BEST school.  Rather find a top 10 school that matches your preference for location, ladies, concentrations and job opportunities.  As for grad school, just make sure you keep your grades outstanding.  This will be easier if you go to a school that matches your personality rather than simply a school that is ranked the highest.  You truly don't know what you will want in four years so don't make decisions based on only one outcome.

this. the degree is all the same regardless of school. do well and be active in a professional society and get an internship. PT schools are hard to get into because of the small amount of students they let in annually. so a good gpa and good gre scores will go a long way, whether you go to a top school or not. recommendations help from what i heard as well.
