Capcom Vs. SNK 2 was a pretty awesome. SVC chaos is insane too. I used to beast with demon iori, Violent Ken and the alien from Metal Slug

blastercombo yeah Marvel 2 is one of those games that came out right when fighting games were going on hiatus and because of that reached a cult status and was THE fighting game until capcom revived Street Fighter in late '07-'08. I just really want an update to Marvel 3 because the engine is still AMAZING but capcom's money troubles and pursuit of a buyout is making this seem unlikely

As far as I know MVC3 is done due to the Disney thing with no chance of coming back due to capcom going under. Pretty sad day in gaming

The only thing I didnt like about MVC2 was the final boss, was terribly easy even in the highest difficulty.

I don't think money is a problem really. They aren't in the best of shape financially but they can afford to patch Marvel but they'll only do it if they think they can benefit from it in the long run.

Disbanding the team and losing the license were the major killers.

I feel like if Marvel 3 gets a lot of streams and view during Evo, Super battle opera and all these other summer tourneys, capcom will dump all it remaining funds into a marvel 3 update. Add to the fact that next summer is avengers 2 and marvel and capcom could use each other to springboard again. All I want is 60 characters for marvel 3. Just 5 more for each side. It can't be the sequel to marvel 2 if it doesn't live up to the character roster number. Plus the glitch just came out for marvel 3 where you can pick 3 of the same character....and I don't think capcom has addressed it

Marvel 3 had the most viewers at EVO last year. 142K viewers I think it was and it's the highest ever in EVO history but like Blaster said, their hands are tied.

It's possible but I won't expect it to happen at all

At one point this was true, but lately teams that have Hulk, Haggar, Shuma, Amaterasu, V. Joe and Rocket Raccoon have been puttin in work. The fact that those teams are even competitive makes it more of a variety than MvC2

i used to use everybody
i can say the roster was diverse
and u could really make a team with anybody
