Africa is being raped right now.
and the quality of the education system in the US is garbage because they don't want immigrants to get the best of education, even though this is the "land of opportunity."
"the rich get richer"; from a video i watched, it seems that they're making it impossible to get an education without going into debt.
The system is setup to keep you on the bottom, not long ago there was no need for car insurance(even though it was an option), but as more and more people of color started driving it became mandatory. not to mention you have to have a license to do just about everything, hunting, fishing, driving, marriage, business, carry a gun, marriage, etc.
depending on which side of the mirror you're standing, this could make perfect sense or no sense at all.

Or do you think that his vaccines are not vaccines at all but something more sinister? If so, do you have any reason to believe so? or is that just because he's an impossibly wealthy white man who happened to give up the vast majority of his money towards this cause and you're too cynical to believe he actually wants to do good?

I think people get too caught up in Africa's troubled history (see the repeated references to "rape") and tend to view current philanthropic actions in Africa as renewed imperialistic interests.
Unless anyone has IRREFUTABLE evidence that CLEARLY shows that BMGF has malicious intents (Hell, I have to pay for my vaccines), then we'll talk about another incoming "rape" of Africa, as some of you love to state. 

In case anyone wants to bring up the main topic again, the people were fleeing from the measles vaccinations because it was their religious faith and belief that influenced them to think that they did not want to receive the vaccination and that in order to cure themselves, they needed to pray to god for medicine. I'm all for religious beliefs, but when it puts your other peers and family at risk (they said that a child died when he locked his kids up in his house from measles), you need to step aside and do the rational thing.

A lot of you may look at the whole "they were using guns" point of view to think that they would actually kill people for not getting vaccinated, but they're really just trying to save lives. Think about it this way, would BMGF kill people for not getting vaccinated and then continue to fund agricultural projects for increased rice production in Africa? It doesn't make sense.

About 131 children from Nsanje who fled into neighboring Mozambique during the anti measles vaccine a few months ago were vaccinated this week at gunpoint.

Africa will rise no matter how desperately the US/EU try to hold it down. The seed has already been sown with players like China entering the arena. One of the governments worst fears is an industrialized, developed Africa /w strong ties to China; and that's exactly what's happening. The classic "crush-all-resistance-with-brute-force" technique to imperialism doesn't fly anymore; just check our past/current military adventures in the area (

Africa has a lot of resources and land, and Asian nations are taking advantage of that, China especially.

If Africa gets a hold of these seeds that have been genetically modified, it can greatly help them.
There's a lot of debate about genetically enhanced food, but in places where there is poverty, getting a hold of these genetically enhanced products will help them immensely because they can grow massive amounts of food that are resistant to many things.
