Black woman tells dogs to attack white news reporter

To me this is not even a black/white issues. OP's title did not even sway me to think as such. I just can't understand why black women have to be so over the top.

you just said the title didnt influence you and then say why do black woman have to be so over the top. That **** doesnt make sense. Someone could easily post a video of a white/latino/whatever woman acting crazy

not sure if srs?

I'm not even talking about any other ethnicities nor do I care how they are protrayed in the media. I'm specifically talking about black women because these kind of reports in the media make black women look crazy (but it has been like this for years) and I personally hate it. The bad thing is that black women (not all) feed into this stereotype in real life which make people believe the the most black women act in this manner.

sen·sa·tion·al·ism
/senˈsāSHənlˌizəm/
Noun
(esp. in journalism) The use of exciting or shocking stories or language at the expense of accuracy, in order to provoke public interest...

imo the mother should not have reacted that way, but as a reporter who confronts people on a regular basis about uncomfortable or terribly sad situations, sooner or later someone will be violent or aggressive towards you. her daughter was just murdered and the reporter wants to talk to her about the suspect?

to me, the news station is exploiting this woman, she should have just stayed in her house and said no comment at the door.

so I have a question, do you think when reporters interview anybody it's exploitation or certain instances? should they stop interviewing people when situations in their community happens?

Both parties are wrong.

The mother shouldn't have had her dogs attack the reporter and shouldn't addressed her by color.

BUT

What the video is in snippets and cuts of what really happened. First it shows a clip of a question being asked and if you listen closely, the mother is trying to calm her dogs. That's sign #1 that things can go wrong. Who knows what else was said or asked by the reporter prior to the first clip since its clearly cut into.

Later on it shows how the reporter shows up to the house and she had the mic behind her on some sneak tip already. Sign #2 that its about to hit the fan is when someone throws something at you and says "give me my bat" and you stay to see whats gonna happen and ask "why?". Another cut in the footage which now the mother has no bat and a phone making a call; who knows how far the reporter is pushing the situation for footage.

Although the mother is not right, nor are the reporters for pressing the situation like that; especially when someone's kid got shot. Legally, the mother is in the wrong but let someone wave their hands in your face and have them say "I'm not touching you" long enough and you might do something, that whole "I'm on public property" BS goes out the window when you are persistent with not only the person but also the environment warning you.

Reporters had every right to be there, but common sense says otherwise. I'm tired of people hiding behind a mic and camera trying to do what they want.

trolling maybe
Not at all since you asked - not that it really matters but you seem to be quite sensitive to the pictures I posted.  Was the black lady right? Absolutely not.  Anyone with any sense would have said "no comment," gone inside their home, and closed the door.  Problem solved.  Once the reporter realized the lady had no desire to talk she and the camera man should have left.  Once the rocks were thrown the story was no longer about the kid / family but about the unfolding incident between the lady, camera man, and reporter.  The reporter was in no real danger...the pics I posted were to show what dogs being sicked on people really looks like.  Those were clearly not attack dogs nor are pit bulls born knowing verbal commands for attack.  They have to be taught to do that on command.  The camera man didn't seem too worried.  News station could have called ahead maybe?  Perhaps schedule an interview in light of the families situation?  Unprofessional.  Attack dogs though?

These days the news is self serving more than public serving - ratings.

Wow, I thought people were joking when they said the pitbulls looked like they were frolicking around , they really did just wanna play. Had me thinking she said "ATTACK DAWIGHT *****" and they assaulted her.

Alright, y'all can carry on, I'm gonna go back to the booty appreciation thread

There's more to this. I was wondering from jump if the girl actually died...they never said was killed. Either way the woman was in an emotional state.

Damn this is crazy went a little too far with the dogs she couldve just told them to leave nicely

Tell me im lying.
i dont care if you're lying or not, you're just obviously ignorant

for a race that likes to spew off about "not treating us groups but as individuals", ALOT of you sure like saying things like "This is the reason we treat ALL of you this way! because some of the people who also have your skin color were mean to us!"

its like, shut the hell up already

To the people saying she was emotional... you don't know how you'd act til your in it.
That's bull.

I would answer:
A) I prefer not to talk, I'm grieving. I ask that you please leave.
... they don't leave I go inside and shut my door until they do or threaten to have the police remove them from the premises and charge them with harassment. They are professionals they will leave.

B) I would simply comment that it is fortunate that he is in custody because if I had gotten to him first he would have suffered much more. Because that's the truth. They would have accepted an answer like this.

C) use the airtime it to ask the jurors to give him the worst sentence possible

or D) gave a 15 minutes of youtube fame worthy response (not really)

at no point am i thinking, rocks, dogs, attack the reporters AT ALL.. because people who can use their brain don't act like that.
Black people like her strengthen stereotypes and make my life harder. Call me an Uncle Tom if you want, but my degree is for public sector jobs which rely on just as much nepotism as fortune 500 companies and anytime some old white guy sees things like this a subliminal is sent that other black people might behave the same.
