Same here, I know enough to start a convo but then gotta switch back to English after a few exchanges.
Wouldn't mind taking it again.

Bonjour, je parle francais mais les bases suelement. Living in Montreal but originally from Calgary. I know the basics of Tagalog also. I'm not fond of French, especially at how it is imposed on you in the work place and in school in Montreal...but I'm still learning. Glad to see NTers with that francais skill!

I speak my native american language. Mikasuki. Not as well as i used to but i can still hold a conversation.

Well Quebec province is French, so it's okay that they push French everywhere! Otherwise French would disappear quickly in MTL and we don't want that do we?

Took Latin for 2 years (forgot most of it), took Spanish for 3 years in HS (forgot most of it), took Korean for 3 semesters (forgot most of it) and majored in Japanese in college (but still not as fluent as I'd like).

Thought about taking French at some point, but as I'd probably never use it, it doesn't seem useful.

Semi-fluent in Hawaiian Creole English though.
