Building my own comp

So i'm looking for a new graphic/video card and i found some but it says they are compatible for pci express 2.0 x16. I'm not entirely sure if mycomputer has this, is there a way i can figure this out?

There were chipsets released for the Pentium 4 that support PCI Express but im 95% sure your computer wasn't one of them.

Im assuming you want to play games? If so building a computer is actually pretty inexpensive.

It depends on how far you want to take it. It could be $400..it could be $2000. Really depends on what you want it to do and your budget.
