but yea a lot of the houses that go for that much in this area are straight up horrible while the ones for 3-4 mill look much better.

That one exactly. And you're right. The sweet spot is right around 3.5-5. After that it either has a ton of prime land like the Shriver home, or houses inBradley Farms, or it belongs to an executive who probably used the spot for business and it ends up looking like that. That house is "seventythirteen" on it's street and "seventy seventeen" is also for sale, a beautiful home that's been on the market forever and I understandwhy, it's next to that monstrosity.

mr marriots ferrari collection and garage was in some magazine about 6 months ago. Ive seen dan snyder pull up to his gate in his maybach 62 acouple times. I read somewhere that he knocked down 3 houses to build his. Its ostentatious but the view is amazing of the potomac.
One of my favorite houses is the marwood mansion. it was built in the 20s but was renovated recently. It reminds me of the newport RI guilded era mansions. Toobad it now sits on like a 5 acre lot as opposed to around 50 acres originally. the funny thing is, is that if it were built today i would hate it but i love itjsut cause it's old and has history
