uefa couldnt help but to give the hype to becks. Not complaining though. England's best vs Italy's should be interesting, i'm sure chels and manuare heavily favored.

While I'm sure a Chelsea/Barca final (or maybe another semi) would be epic, i'm glad Arsenal still have 10-1 odds

Yeah they'll be televised. The tournament returns once again in mid February.

Except for a few matches, the games seem very one sided (though anything can happen and usually does)

    My picks:

    Stuttgart v Barcelona
    Olympiacos v Bordeaux
    Inter Milan v Chelsea
    Bayern Munich v Fiorentina
    CSKA Moscow v Sevilla
    Lyon v Real Madrid
    Porto v Arsenal
    AC Milan v Manchester United

Arsenal with an easy draw once again.[IMG]

I was hoping Arsenal would get knocked out in the round-of-16 stage so that Wenger does not fall back on the "We have a good team...we made the final 8 ofthe UCL" excuse after we finish with yet another trophy-less season[IMG]

    Anyways, my picks are:
    -Barcelona
    -Bordeaux
    -Chelsea
    -Bayern
    -Sevilla
    -Real
    -Arsenal
    -Man Utd

Most interesting match-ups from an entertainment perspective IMO are gonna be Lyon vs. Real and Bayern vs. Fiorentina.

Wow, Porto are strong from what I've seen this year. Strong in the back and dangerous players on the counter. I would have no problempicking them if the return leg were in Porto.

The only side that can say they had an easy draw is Barca.

This is a terrible matchup for Milan. Their age is going to show.

games start in less than an hour. Looks like the only option here in the US will be via ESPN Deportes.

Of course, their showing the madrid game first, and then the ac-milan-man u game after[IMG]

CR9 with a beautiful heel pass, but Lyon was there to stop Higuian from catching up to it
Game is more open than expected....not sure that's what Lyon wants though they have played better the first 20 mins

Must not read the man u-milan comments in this thread

Ok, based on their play so far, Utd. have no business advancing to the next round.
EDIT ~ Ok and just after I say that, they equalize... a scuffed goal but Scholes... he misses the ball with his right foot, the ball then hits his standing leg and rolls into the goal.

Meanwhile, Sir throwing f-bombs left and right at Evans.  Just a glimpse of the hairdryer
