Child Support Makes No Sense!

This is something that goes unsaid A LOT.

The way dudes talk is like child support is an inevitability :lol Like once you hear ya boy gotta chick pregnant and you know he aint getting married, it's damn you gonna need a 2nd job.

There's some dudes with a gang of kids by multiple women that are not getting gamed by the system. Granted a majority of these dudes provide for their children on their own and not by threat of imprisonment.

Again though that goes to the flaws of the system. The money is suppose to be for the children now the chick you knocked up. This aint alimony (which is a whole other stupid *** thing).

so i got 5 more months left for my oldest
then im off child support she turns 18
now mind u
i have 4
but only 1 doesnt live with me
why early last month i get paperwork
that my 2 middle kids mother is tryna get child support
and i needed to provide info
so i call the number speak to the case worker
saying how is this possible when the kids live with me
of course before that i call their mom and ask whats up
she said she not sure
she not getting extra money for them
blah blah blah
and she will take care of it
we hang up
i call and speak to whoever handling the case
she gonna say well she has the kids live with her
im like what
the kids live with me
on their school records
their medical records
everything the whole 9
she like well its up to me to prove that
and i should fill out the paperwork
im heated
i call my kids mom like man u gotta take care of this asap
now mind u the worker said well if what im saying true
its welfare fraud and gave me a number
but i wanna give my kids bm the benefit of the doubt
so i dont call them
well she does take care of it that day
she goes to the welfare office
she JUST had another kid a few months ago
she had 2 since we broke up 11 years ago
and i guess when they were processing her paperwork for the new kid
the worker added our 2 kids to her report as living with her
anyway
she got it situated and case closed
but man the system is so damn messed up
how she didnt need proof they live with her
but i woulda needed proof

though i ALWAYS keep my reciepts from school clothes
food
toys and games i buy
just cause u never know
i have ziploc bags
full of receipts thats organized by year
in a drawer in my room
that ive kept for 11 years
JUST IN CASE
 
also there is a catch
to my oldest after she turns 18
so at least in cali
u will be on child support
until ur child turns 18
or they can extend it until she graduates high school
or until she's 19
now the way for them to do that
is the custodial parent has to request this
but they send out the paperwork
and lets say
the deadline passed
and months down the line the mother fills it out or request it
u are liable for that back pay :{
because they purposely take months to close child support cases

When a mother applies for govt assistance, food stamps, health care for them or their childern, and they are not married, the father is automatically enrolled in child support proceedings. Sounds like she told em she had 3 kids to get more assistance, she may or may not have know that would make them come after you.

no not how it works in cali bruh
the ONLY way u will end up on child support
is if the mom gets CASH AIDE
food stamps or health care doesnt matter
they can get that without the father getting put on child support
its cash aide
but thats cali not sure on how it works in other states
 
Fellas if you got a credit card with a good limit on it. Make your BM an authorized user and put your own monthly spend cap on it. Best way to keep receipts should you need them
