I'll probably order a chromecast later today. Only thing I don't like is they don't have hbogo. Maybe i'll try logging in on the chrome browser and watching it that way.
I bought my sister a roku and it's nice but the interface really sucks.
Apparently HBO should be coming by end of the year.

Can you go into more detail?
I have this setup running on my macbook pro with a 15ft HDMI. After like 30-45 minutes of streaming it starts to lag bad, even if the video is fully loaded. I did the "unlimited buffer" trick and it still happens. you know anyway to solve this? I have a 240GB SSD and 8 Gigs of Ram so I doubt its my specs. I think the cache is just filling up.

it has to be the processor or some services that is running on your macbook taking up some resources. i haven't had any lag after watching 720p vids via xbmc. TIP of the day....please please please....download SHOWBOX and VideoMix for your android box. mind blown.

Both are trash.
Currently using WDTV Live.
Raspberry Pi is severely underpowered.
Next upgrade will be fanless Intel NUC.
Says both are trash but then says he uses WDTV live
