Computer Heads!! vol Help!! -_-

ok so i formatted my computer today. did everything to get it up and running. but i havent been able to get my external hard drive working. The computer isnt recognizing it at all... i have almost a TB of music, movies, pictures and documents on there... how i may be able to find it or something.... great help!

and yes i googled everything and found nothing..

Every time I hear the word "external" for something relating to a PC it makes me cringe. I remember having an external CD burner for my PC and it would only work when it felt like it. Sometimes it would recognize it and other times it was as if nothing was ever installed.

But I'm sure some computer heads here on NT could help you out.

go to control panel, then go to administrative tools and go to computer management, then in the left menu it should say storage. Check Removable Media and Disk Management and see if it shows up. Had to type this twice because of yuku

unplug hd. go to the hard drive brand website, search your model, download and install the latest drivers. restart comp. plug in hd. thank me.
