Finally saw via redbox. Loved it.
Another thing i dont know how you guys got avengers really high. Movie was jus meh. Is it cuz all of them were on one screen together?
Gotg, cap2, im1, dofp, incredible hulk, cap1, thor 2, even man of steel, all better than avengers

Singer is still a terrible director (go watch jack the giant slayer).. I think it was mrOnegatives review that pointed out all the flaws of the movie..
But literally they put such a huge emphasis on magneto being needed to solve things in the past.. But seriously, how much easier would things have been for wolverine and professor x if they left dude in his cell..
Hell, let's not even go to them just having quicksilver do his thing with the mission instead of helping to get magneto out.. Like seriously how much easier/better would things have gone without mags
And for dude talking about the flaws of the previous movies, how many of those flaws were created by singer???

WS was just a better movie. I was engaged the whole time. After the Quicksilver scene, I kinda tuned out. I mean DOFP peaked at the midway mark.

Cap2 is my favorite CBM this year, GoTG next (i put this that high because knowing nothing of them i left the theater anticipating part 2), ASM2 then DoFP. the last two can flip flop but i put DoFP last because they just had to fix so much **** from the previous movies. with that said i cannot wait for AoA...

Singer has his ups and downs. I thought the Usual Suspects was his best work which was really, really good.

All the Marvel movies of late have been

that's what happens when you are only doing something because someone else is doing it.. they literally only put the character in the movie to try and top what marvel was doing
if marvel/whedon never announce that they were going use the character, there wouldn't have been a quicksilver in DOFP

I was simply happy there were x-men movies being made when singer made the first 2 films.. but I still felt unsatisfied THEN.. and you go back and watch those movies now and they do not age well
singer has not been good recently.. but I did enjoy DOFP, just thought it could have been a whole lot better.. especially for an x-men movie.. I wish they would have just let Vaughn start completely from scratch without singer's input (then they don't even have to worry about the first 2 films and whatever they decide to keep from the others)
also, let's not forget that horrible wolverine movie, the last one (not origins.. which was also terrible)

Vaughn actually didn't want to continue on with the X-movies and preferred to pursue something (a comic book movie) he was more passionate/focused on (The Secret Service).
