DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

I want Alice Eve to have one of those roles.

Olivia Wilde or Emily Blunt would make a good Talia.

Do Talia and Nyssa have any kind of relationship, seems like the sisters never see each or or are together?

What if the goggles do this? :nerd:

They've got one major story together, which is the first time they meet, where Nyssa makes Talia indebted to her/love her by killing and resurrecting her in rapid succession via the Lazarus Pit. Nothing beyond that. Nyssa was also born like a good 100 years before Talia.

Ra's al Ghul has lived for hundreds of years. Not decades. Hundreds.

That's what happens when you bathe in the Lazarus pit instead of regular ol' water like the rest of us.

He's got a son too. But he very well could of had a lot of illegitimate children we don't know of through the centuries that have lived full lives and died of natural causes.

In the cartoon he was always trying to marry talia off to bruce. In arrow, he married nyssa off to oliver so he could be the new leader.

He's specifically obsessed with a male, being a chauvinist and all. He's also specifically looking for the ideal male heir, which is why his son wasn't worthy in his eyes, because his son was an albino.

More Bruce Wayne than Oliver Queen, since he see's Bruce as the perfect opponent, whom his daughter also happens to love. So you've got the perfect man (Bruce) and the perfect woman (Talia). He wants Bruce to take over for him, carry on his work, and then to have a child with Talia, continuing the legacy, with the perfect child being born. Bruce, naturally, refuses time and again, forcing Ra's to continue his work himself and to look for another possible heir. His end goal of course is the destruction of the human race in order to purge the Earth and allow it to recover from the damage humans have done to it over the centuries.

MAN OF STEEL Sequel Confirmed By Henry Cavill's Management

During a recent interview with Newsweek, Dany Garcia, Henry Cavill's manager and producer on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's upcoming SHAZAM!, confirmed the active development of the Man of Steel sequel. “Henry has a big appetite,” said Garcia. “We’ve been in a five-month period of time where he’s re-strategizing, acquiring property [for his production company Promethean], he’s filming [Justice League] now, he’s in development for the Superman standalone… he’s beginning to expand that world.”

Xennial Xennial Not necessarily. You have to read Death and the Maidens to get the full story. But basically, Nyssa was born first and she was loyal to Ra's for decades, holding the exact same position that Talia would later hold. He gave Nyssa control of his forces, the ability to use the Lazarus Pits, etc. However, she eventually grows tired of fighting by his side and leaves the organization, causing a split between them. This split is worsened when, after Nyssa has a family at a later date, Nyssa doesn't allow Ra's to take her children to be train them as his heirs. Leading into WWII, Nyssa and her family end up being held in a concentration camp and she runs into Ra's, who, of course, is on the side of the Nazis, since they are killing people by the millions. She asks him to help her and he refuses, which causes the final split and her to turn on him forever. So it's not that he necessarily favors Talia over her sister. It's that by the modern day he's just no longer associated with her sister and she isn't associated with him. In fact, by the time Nyssa shows up Talia isn't even working with Ra's anymore either. She's working for Lex Luthor if I remember correctly (Who was President of the United States at the time). She ran LexCorp for him or something like that.
