DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - The Penguin out 9/19 then every Sunday on MAX

I highly doubt they pull Whedon for that

EDIT: Did she really just low-key slide herself some credit for Buffy the Vampire Slayer?

Whedon might a prick for cheating on his ex-wife like that but he should be fine unless some of those actresses come out and say they were sexually assaulted.

Mr. Fantastic must of wrote this, the amount of reaching is incredible

(For my mind, the fabulous disaster that is Snyder’s “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” proves far more compelling, at least in theory, than the bulk of Marvel Studios outings.)

:lol::sick:

da rest of it is lamenting da fact people don't appreciate beta ideals in comic books among other spiels..

Looks like Whedon is still in for Batgirl for now, currently working on the script.

Joss Whedon is still directing Batgirl, sources say

The Warner Bros./DC rumor du jour is that Joss Whedon has been quietly dumped from writing and directing the upcoming Batgirl movie.

But sources close to the Batgirl production say that The Avengers director is currently at work on the script and remains attached to direct as well. Of course, things could change — top talents get replaced on projects all the time. But as of now, as Dr. Horrible might say, the status is quo.

The untitled Batgirl movie is based on the Batgirl story that was first unveiled in DC Comics in 1967. One has to expect there was some new optimism about the project after the breakout success of Wonder Woman. Whedon was among those who pioneered strong female characters in Hollywood with Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Bout to go see Justice League, after I destroy the polo outlet. Did anyone watch it in 3D? Was the quality any better?

I admittedly have zero eye for bad CGI. So, when it comes to me and CGI it's more about the design/looks than the actual graphics. Doomsday looked ****in horrible IMO.

Add that to the fact that he was not necessary.

Aries at the end wasn't necessary either...

Still waiting to see that side by with Aries and Steppenwolf.. like that had with doomsday, the things from lord of the rings and ninja turtles

Finally got to see Justice League. I enjoyed it for what it was. Felt rushed though no doubt. Will see it again though. 6.7/8.

I'm very excited for the Joss Batgirl flick

He might eff around and make her as popular as WW

Mahershala Ali or Sterling K. Brown. Stephan James or Trevante Rhodes if they skew John younger and still go with that "Lethal Weapon in space".

JUSTICE LEAGUE Actor Confirms Joss Whedon Wrote And Directed Key Batman Scene

The film begins with Batman (Ben Affleck) on a rooftop in Gotham City as he defeats a burglar (Holt McCallany), and is later interrupted by a Parademon. According to McCallany, this opening scene was one of Whedon's reshoots. In an interview with Men's Fitness, McCallany had this to say about the scene:

“I love Joss Whedon. My scene with Batman was originally conceived as a comedic scene. That’s how Joss wrote it, and that’s how we shot it. I thought it came out great, but the studio felt it would be a mistake to open the film with a completely comedic scene, so it was re-edited a little bit. I was disappointed, but when I got home to New York I found a bottle of my favorite Champagne and a note from Joss that said ‘To Battles Lost. Gratefully, Joss.’ I can’t tell you how much it meant to me that he took the time to write to me. Joss Whedon is a class act. I had the letter framed.”

McCallany also shared his experience shooting the scene:

"It was a great experience, and a fun scene to shoot. Ben [Affleck] was very easygoing, we got it in just a few takes," the actor confessed. "My favorite fight scenes are usually ones that are choreographed with some style to them, and ones that are choreographed around a particular actor’s individual strengths. The old adage in the fight game is 'styles make fights.' I like to design my own fight choreography in conjunction with my director and stunt coordinator whenever possible, and here it was a great way to be a part of the film—even though I got beat by Batman."
