Well im trying to get over the hump... Let me backtrack to tell how i ended up being depressed i got fired from job from 4years last year around fall.
Then i tought lifes over i wont ever find another job was jobless for almost two months ate up all my savings. Basically i wanna thank god i found some

chick that took care of me for the time being but still felt bad about the situation. I basically kicked it at her crib for days since i had no job she feed me and

took me up but i still felt useless i ended up gaining 20 lbs. After pursuiting jobs working as a dishwasher ended getting blessed with an office job. Is been

two months in my job and i felt happy making way more money kinda getting my confident back. I lacked some confidence due to the fact of me losing my

job getting chubier and all the stress. Any tips in getting over the hump am slowly working just need my swagger back

google, or NT needs to make a sticky at this point.

but if you know you're depressed from gaining weight, lose it.

yes something like that just kinda you know when you lose your mojo like girls wise... i mean i know dudes that isolated themselves from that dating life and come back and they dont know what to do..

Depression is a vicious cycle, you're depressed cause you're fat, you're fat and insecure so you eat more, you get more depressed, you eat cause you're depressed, you're depressed so you have no motivation to work out, you don't work out so you get fatter----

You get the point, break the cycle--easier said than done with a legitimate life stressor of not having a job

dude you have to have self control and control what you eat. You need to get on a good diet and hit the gym, your mojo will come back

In some circles that's not really considered "depression" per say, more like an adjustment disorder but it affects you the same way so the distinction isn't really-Many people with depression can't identify the source of their sad mood

Just smoke weed

if you are unmotivated I suggest a sativa strain......

or workout

either one will make you feel good ps. If you mix weed with an intense workout you will feel like a boss.

workout tho

P90X BRUH, just make sure u stick to it. t sounds like u dont even feel like going out or anything, so do that in ur alone time nd u'll feel better....

i used to be a club promoter... and now i barely even go out so am trying to get back on it.. and am working out it just seems to take a LONG time to even see any results

It should be a long time before you even think of the long time it will take to lose the fat if you gained 20 lbs of fat.
-get new friends
-listen to some new music
-read books
-although it's been said, i'll repeat it; Cardio. it will really help
-stop masturbating completely
- if all fails, just do as that guy said, hit the herb 24/7 ya feel me?

I'm a strong marijuana advocate, but this isn't a case I'd recommend it.

Get a gym membership and talk to a professional. Diet can have a direct impact on moods from what I'm told by my PT as well as my old counselor. I see youre a person of faith. Get involved in a local church. Network, make friends, enjoy the experience of like minded individuals.

NT is always here for you. I've been dealing with depression for a long time and just having a place to talk to random people from all walks of life is a nice form of therapy for me. I hope you find your solution, good luck.

Im dealing with depression right now....its a B$^% but some days are better than others....keep your head up fam.

I made a thread about this recently:

http://niketalk.com/topic...ling?page=1#.Txr204E8-ik

This week has been one of hardest stretches of my life, if not the hardest. The mornings are the worst. I wake up earlier than usual with what I can only describe as an emptiness. I have literally no appetite and have to force feed myself, but really I have no will to eat. I hate admitting that that I don't want to be around anymore but the thought is definitely there and scares the hell out of me. I have a good support system and sometimes find myself following them around like a puppy just to have someone near me. My speech and movements have seemed slower than usual almost making me feel like a zombie. It's some scary stuff fellas. I normally wouldn't open myself up like this because I didn't when it originally happened in 2007, but I feel like it's time to start feeling better if that's even possible, which it seems like it's not.

To the OP, you're not the only one going through it bro. So know that you are not alone. I've struggled with unemployment and watched my savings all but disappear just paying bills. No interest or amusement in things that I normally love. I hope you get over that hump soon, by any means possible. After making that depression thread a few days back I've experienced some support through PMs so if you ever need to talk to someone, just reach out on here or other boards. There are people who can help you in the unlikeliest of places.
