Is anyone worried that Jay Elec signed with Jay Z? All his rappers have fallen off & I get the impression he doesn't take care of any of his friends. Not that signing with diddy was a better option (far from it). Just saying...

Thing is he didn't need a label behind to drop material so why should him being signed hinder anything.

Good morning. I agree with you Mangudai954, he didn't need a label but I guess he liked the idea of having the Jay Z name behind him. I just don't like Live Nation that's behind Jay Z. The last thing you need are suits behind an artist like this Jay Elec. These suits are the reason rap is so diluted. These dudes out now are like what hair metal bands were like to rock music in the 80s. it's a joke. I'm looking forward to his release though...

I'm down for branching out musically & as an artist. I'm also down with Jay Elec collabing with The Bullitts, but does the world need another band with actors? He's teaming with The Bullitts, Lucy Liu, & Idris Elba for an EP. Does anyone find this cheesy? Has Jay Elec gone Hollywood? Your thoughts?
