There is TREMENDOUS diversity within India - as one would expect given that over 1.2 BILLION people live there.  Do you know how many different languages are spoken in India?  Do you know what the poverty rates are like in India's various regions? 

To make blanket judgments about "Indian culture" based on the economic holdings of a select group of immigrants arriving in the United States in the last few decades is absolutely preposterous - not to mention offensive.

Would you use the "reverse brain drain" of IT professionals heading to India from the United States to make the opposite case, that people in India are "culturally inferior" to Americans, because American immigrants make more money on average?

If a tremendously diverse group of indians can have a higher household income in the US, despite being lumped together unfairly to get the number, im missing your point. Noone is making blanket judgements about indian culture here. They are saying people from that physical land mass earn better than white americans ( who are also of diverse backgrounds).
